Wheeler FTC Qualifier ft. Cyber SWAT

FTC Wheeler Circuit Runners Qualifier held at Wheeler Highschool on January 19th. This video was produced in collaboration with our friends from Cyber SWAT FTC, who won the Inspire Award at this tournament!

Our team was in the winning robot alliance for the day and also won the Connect Award.

Kell Qualifier: Inspire Award!!

We won the Inspire award (best overall) at our Qualifier today! We also got 4th seed in our qualifying robot rounds, and moved on to the Semi Finals with our alliance team #5975, Cybertechnic Stingers. we had a great time competition today, and can't wait for our second qualifier at Wheeler Highschool in January.

Winning the Inspire Award also means we got an invitation to the Georgia State Competition in February!

FTC - What We've Been Working On

We Entered "Wouldn't It Be Cool If"

We entered the Wouldn't It Be Cool If competition, sponsored by Time Warner Cable and i.am.FIRST, with our Body Backward System project. Please vote for us and help give us one last chance to patent our idea and turn it into a reality for more wheelchairs!

State Competition

We had a fantastic time at the Georgia State Competition, and were so excited to come home with the Second Place Champion's award. FTC here we come!

SPSU Super Regional

We had a great time at our Super Regional tournament. We placed second in robot performance and won the Second Place Champion's award. It was great to see the other teams and thanks for the great competition! Check out our video below.

Thank You LEGO in Paradise

A huge thanks to LEGO in Paradise from Michigan for the sparkly "GENIUS blue" NXT brick and message in memory of our coach. It will be a wonderful tribute to her. We're so glad to have kept in touch with you since the World Festival!

The Lydia Kedzierski Robotics Fund

The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta has set up a scholarship fund for Girl Scout robotics teams in honor of our coach. Memorial Contributions to the fund can be made here. Thank you for supporting girls in robotics.

Lydia Kedzierski was passionate about encouraging girls to be confident and active in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). ...We are deeply saddened by Lydia’s passing, but we celebrate her hard work and legacy by championing the activity she was most passionate about: Robotics for Girls.
