We'll Miss You.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Lydia Kedzierski.

On Saturday, November 19th, Lydia Kedzierski, coach, mentor, mother and friend of GENIUS passed away due to complications from a brain aneurysm that burst on November 5th.

She will be missed dearly.

The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta has set up a scholarship fund for Girl Scout robotics teams in honor of our coach. Memorial Contributions to the fund can be made here. Thank you for supporting girls in robotics.

Lydia Kedzierski was passionate about encouraging girls to be confident and active in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). ...We are deeply saddened by Lydia’s passing, but we celebrate her hard work and legacy by championing the activity she was most passionate about: Robotics for Girls. Please join us in honoring her and creating the next generation of women who work, play and succeed with STEM.
